Owner & Optometrist
Dr. Chris Troxel
Dr. Christopher Troxel earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Abilene Christian University and went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University.
With over 25 years of experience in the field, Dr. Troxel is committed to providing every patient with the best possible vision care—delivering precise prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses while thoroughly evaluating each patient’s eye health.
Since relocating to Utah in 2000, Dr. Troxel has embraced the outdoor lifestyle the state offers, enjoying skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and more. He lives in Draper with his wife, whom he married in Las Vegas on April 1st.

Optometrist
Dr. Joan Decker
Dr. Joan Decker spent most of her childhood in Utah and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Utah Valley University. She attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Optics and a Doctorate in Optometry. She graduated with an emphasis in primary care and enjoyed specialty rotations in ocular disease, surgical co-management, and specialty contact lenses.
Dr. Decker has been with CT Vision since 2016 and loves working with the patient population in the area. She lives in the area with her husband and three children. They enjoy all the hiking the area has to offer and the family friendly environment.

Optometrist
Dr. Jamison Langston
Dr. Jamison Langston is a licensed optometrist dedicated to providing thorough, personalized eye care. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Arizona College of Optometry and completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University–Idaho. Dr. Langston offers comprehensive primary eye care, which includes routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, and the diagnosis and management of various eye conditions. His approach emphasizes clear communication, careful evaluations, and treatment plans that align with each patient’s vision goals and daily needs.
He believes in the importance of patient education and preventive care, working to ensure that every individual feels informed and supported in maintaining their long-term eye health. He also prioritizes continuing education to stay current with the latest advancements in eye care and deliver the highest standard of service to his patients. Dr. Langston is proud to be part of the broader optometric community through his involvement with the Utah Optometric Association.
Outside of work, Dr. Langston enjoys biking and hiking throughout Utah with his wife, and spending time at home enjoying movies, books, games, and the company of their two cats.

Optometrist
Dr. Jeremy Gardner, OD, FAAO
Dr. Gardner graduated from Midwestern University - Arizona College of Optometry, then went on to complete a Residency in Pediatric Eye Care, Vision Therapy, and Brain Injury Neuro-Visual Rehabilitation. Dr. Gardner is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO), and is about to complete his fellowship with the Optometrists in Vision Development & Rehabilitation Association (FOVDR) in Spring 2026.
Due to Dr. Gardner’s extensive specialty training, Dr. Gardner is a Neuro-Developmental Optometrist, a specialty eye doctor who is equipped to handle neurological and developmental challenges that go beyond 20/20 eyesight. He specializes in how the brain and eyes work together, and is trained to address any of the following:

Eye Turns/Lazy Eyes

Headaches, Migraines, and Eye Strain

Vision-related learning challenges (eye teaming, eye tracking, and vision processing difficulties)

Dyslexia, ADHD, and Autism (Verbal and Non-Verbal), and general reading/learning challenges.

Visual challenges following a Concussion, Stroke, or Brain Injury (Headaches, light sensitivity, computer eye strain, double vision, dizziness, motion sensitivity, etc.)

Slowing down the progression of worsening Myopia (nearsightedness) in children

Pediatric and Adult Eye Exams for those that just want a great pair of glasses or contacts.
Dr. Gardner always makes sure to take the time to teach patients and their families how to take care of and improve their vision. He is fluent in Spanish (se habla Espanol), and loves spending time outdoors with his wife and 5 children.
